What kind of work do you do as a sales representative?

Through business negotiations with our clients, we make proposals for our own products and custom-made products. Based on customer needs and trend information, we make proposals suited to each client. Our main work is from product proposal to delivery, but even after delivery, we analyze sales and link this to future proposals.

What made you decide to become a salesperson?

I like communicating with people and find it fascinating to gain new perspectives and ways of thinking by being involved with a variety of people. Since I am involved in everything from the proposal to the product, I feel a sense of satisfaction when I see the products I have been involved with in the stores. Although there are many hardships involved, I think the appeal of sales is the sense of accomplishment I get when I see results in terms of in-store sales after a product is delivered.

What do you value in sales?

We place importance on proposing products that meet the needs of our customers, and we believe it is important to have a lot of knowledge about raw materials, knitting fabrics, and so on. Therefore, I think it is very important to accumulate a lot of experience and knowledge. As mentioned above, the time when I feel growth is when I can leave results in the form of store floor figures. We are constantly updating our raw materials and knitting machines, and I am constantly learning as I go about my work.

Finally, what is the attraction of working at Sukeno as a sales representative?

Because we are in an industry that involves many people, it is attractive to gain a lot of ideas and knowledge. In addition, because sales involves a variety of tasks, there are always opportunities to hone diverse skills and tackle new challenges. I think the great appeal of working in sales at Sukeno is that you can change the situation depending on your own approach.
